【陸運鋒／台北報導】台北市信義區松壽路夜店，凌晨2時許，發生打群架多人掛彩事件，警消抵達將3名受傷男女先後送醫，所幸只是輕傷。

警方表示，當時夜店內一方酒客因人數眾多，所以包廂坐不下，佔用到包廂旁走道，此時另一方酒客覺得這是公共空間，為何不能過，於是兩方人馬發生口角，進而演變成互毆衝突，警方已將雙方人馬帶回派出所了解，案由警方調查中。

【王煌忠／台中報導】台中市一名陸籍外配，因同鄉在國小擔任廚工，從前年底開始，常利用閒暇帶著就讀國中資源班的女兒「小琪」﹝15歲﹞到校與同鄉泡茶聊天，進而與該校聘僱的李姓工友﹝60歲﹞結識，不料李心懷不軌，藉陪「小琪」在校內遊戲時，將她帶到樓梯間、體育館、及女廁，以手指性侵下體得逞，事後給「小琪」50到100元不等當封口費。
 
年初，老師在課堂教導健康教育課程時，智能不足的「小琪」才驚覺工友對她伸出狼爪的行為叫做「性侵」，遂向老師反映，校方發現事態嚴重，緊急通報台中市家庭暴力及性侵害防治中心，將「小琪」帶往醫院驗傷，發現下體有撕裂舊傷，立即通知警方調查，李姓工友偵訊時否認犯行，辯稱「我的年紀都可以當她父親了，怎麼可能性侵她！」警方訊後將全案依妨害性自主罪嫌函送。

7月28日是世界衛生組織的「世界肝炎日」，大陸衛生和計畫生育委員會指出，中國大陸已成為世界上為B型肝炎、肝硬化和肝癌付出最多社會成本的國家。衛計委表示，全球有3億5000萬名B型肝炎帶原者，其中約9300萬人在中國大陸，且每年新發感染者達10萬之多，對中國構成「極其嚴重」的影響。

總部設在新加坡的亞太病毒肝炎撲滅聯盟（CEVHAP）主席、台大醫學院講座教授陳定信說，亞太地區的肝炎死亡人數是愛滋病的三倍。北京大學醫學部教授莊輝也表示，根據統計數據，中國大陸C型肝炎患者約有1000萬人，但接受規範治療的患者僅有2%。

衛計委宣稱，今年將制訂預防控制B型肝炎的行動方案，包括加強預防接種、全大陸監測、健康教育、衛生監督管理。至於C型肝炎，衛計委表示，已在2008年將防治工作與愛滋病防治工作有機整合，建立了監測系統。
