受潭美颱風來襲影響，21日部分地區停止上班，有關票據交換及跨行清算作業，央行特別提出說明，票據交換方面，依據相關規定予以從寬處理，有關跨行清算作業方面，各銀行都留存充裕資金於跨行清算專戶，以因應民眾ATM提領的需求，經查8月20日各銀行留存該專戶金額總計584億元。
央行表示，為顧及支票存款戶資金調度受到影響，特別督導台灣票據交換所對於支票存款戶所發生的存款不足退票，及因本次颱風遭受災害，致影響票款清償能力者，依據相關規定予以從寬處理。
央行說，如8月21日以後仍受颱風影響，致部分地區停止上班，將比照因應措施辦理。
在跨行清算作業方面，央行表示，配合財金公司跨行清算作業需要，各銀行都留存充裕資金於跨行清算專戶，以因應民眾ATM提領的需求，經查8月20日各銀行留存該專戶的金額總計584億元。
另外，為協助受災戶瞭解天然災害救助及貸款相關措施，央行也彙整政府各機關及本國銀行優惠貸款資訊，以供受災民眾、企業參考。
