休士頓, 2013年8月6日 /美通社-PR Newswire/ -- Rowan Companies plc（簡稱「Rowan」或「該公司」） 今天宣佈，旗下子公司與 Cobalt International Energy, L.P.（鈷國際能源，簡稱 Cobalt） 就 Rowan 目前委託現代重工集團（Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd.，簡稱 HHI）旗下韓國蔚山造船廠建造的一艘新超深海鑽探船「Rowan Reliance」達成了一份三年期合同。這艘鑽探船預計將在美國墨西哥灣作業。

「Rowan Reliance」預計將於2014年10月底由現代重工集團交付，而合同預計將在船開動的2015年1月下旬開始執行。有效日工費將達602,000美元——包括船開動費用，未來總收入將達6.6億美元。
Rowan 行政總裁馬特-拉爾斯 (Matt Ralls) 表示：「我們很高興與 Cobalt 達成合作。這家公司的發展之路非常引人注目，並在超深海勘探方面創造了良好記錄。在我們向超深海鑽探領域拓展期間，我們將借助業內最先進的鑽探船幫助發揮 Cobalt 的發展潛力。我們很榮幸能有機會成為這家引人注目的公司的未來成功的一部分。」
「Rowan Reliance」是由現代重工集團正在為 Rowan 建造的四艘超深海鑽探船中的一艘。這四艘船都採用了 GustoMSC P10,000 船體設計，能夠在深達12,000英呎的深水中鑽井，鑽井深度最深達40,000英呎。依照 DP-3 規定打造的動力定位鑽探船「Rowan Reliance」將配備伸縮式推進器、兩個帶有7個活塞的易操作防噴器 (BOP) 系統、五台泥漿泵、雙泥漿系統和一個載荷重量最多達1,250噸的起吊機。
在「Rowan Reliance」獲得這份合同後，Rowan 旗下由現代重工集團建造的4艘超深海鑽探船中的3艘現在都簽訂了相關合同。至今仍未敲定合約的第四艘鑽探船「Rowan Relentless」預計將在2015年3月底從蔚山造船廠交付。

光寶7月合併營收 今年新高

光寶科技7月全球合併母子公司營收新台幣178.9億元，較6月與去年同期分別成長4%與3%，創今年新高。
其中包括電源事業群、照相模組和輸入裝置事業部（鍵盤、滑鼠等電腦周邊產品）均創下今年月營收新高。累計1至7月全球合併母子公司營收1142.6億元。
光寶表示，受惠於雲端應用及行動裝置全球市場需求提升，高階網通設備及伺服器電源管理市占率擴增，帶動電源事業群月營收穩定成長，並創下今年月營收新高；照相模組在高階產品產能擴增、出貨順暢以及平板電腦和智慧型手機全球市佔率提升下，月營收年成長逾3成，亦創下今年單月營收新高。
LED元件及照明應用產品7月整體營收年成長近2成；其中，LED照明元件受惠於量產順利及全球照明品牌客戶需求暢旺，7月營收年成長近 4成；LED照明應用方面，LED路燈在北美市場節能需求提升與標案出貨順暢帶動下，單月營收月成長及年成長分別高達3成及7成。
此外，輸入裝置事業部（鍵盤、滑鼠等電腦周邊產品）受惠於市佔率擴增且平板電腦周邊應用鍵盤出貨順暢，7月營收年成長近4成，同步創下單月營收歷史新高；多功能事務機營收在雷射新機種出貨順暢帶動下，年成長逾2成；同時，高階伺服器機殼出貨順暢，俾使機殼產品營收年成長亦逾2成，三者帶動整體機構核心事業群7月營收月成長及年成長分別達11%及28%，創2011年以來單月營收新高。
