【綜合報導】貓空纜車8月以來、1周內第3次因台電供電問題而停駛，且今天上午的故障處竟和昨天一樣，同樣是萬壽路75巷配電室故障，導致貓纜今天上午停 駛停駛54分鐘，嚴重影響乘客權益，總計1周內3次停電至少影響270名乘客權益。台北捷運公司將正式行文要求台電提供穩定供電，
 
北市議員林奕華痛批台電擺爛，北市府自己也消積不重視，不向台電求償且一句話也沒坑，北市府應對貓纜負責，不能一味把責任推給台電。貓纜之前因土石流停駛，民眾對貓纜的印象已很差了，現在動不動跳電停駛，民眾大老遠來了又不能搭，形象更是雪上加霜，
 
台電表示，初步清查後因為萬壽路57巷配電所本來今天排定線路地下化工程，研判應該是施工包商在施工時不小心將熔絲線路挖斷導致跳電，目前還在確認中。如果有造成任何損害賠償問題，則會請包商依合約來辦理。

【綜合報導】美國MMA鐵路公司（Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Ltd）7日在美國緬因州法院登記破產，公司對外表示，在上個月六日發生運油列車爆炸後，生意一落千丈，不得已只好申請破產保護。
 
7月6日，一列無人駕駛滿載原油的MMA貨運列車，全速駛進加拿大魁北克的美干提湖鎮（Lac-Megantic），列車出軌爆炸並導致4節車廂原油外洩，造成47人死亡。估計MMA鐵路公司的資產總額最多約30億元台幣。
