（軍聞社記者李忠軒臺北廿日電）七月起，臺灣進入颱風威脅季節，國防部軍醫局提醒官兵於執行營區防颱工作整備、防區前支救災及所屬眷舍、自家清潔工作時，應注意登革熱等傳染性疾病預防，確維個人健康。

　軍醫局表示，因積水所引起的傳染性疾病以登革熱為最，且今年疫情於南部（臺南、高雄、及屏東）地區蔓延，官兵除實施防颱整備外，應定期清理水溝、積水容器等，避免孳生病媒蚊。

　軍醫局強調，官兵執行環境清理時，應穿著雨鞋或防水長靴，配戴防水手套及口罩，做好個人防護措施，避免遭生鏽器物（如鐵釘、鐵片等）刺傷或割傷，工作結束後，應以肥皂及清水洗手，並仔細檢查有無傷口，以免感染鉤端螺旋病體、類鼻疽、破傷風及其他皮膚病。

　軍醫局指出，颱風豪雨過後會產生大量積水容器，易形成病媒蚊孳生源，應主動清除營區內外積水容器，並預防登革熱；此外，也提醒官兵注意飲水、食物及環境衛生，若有身體不適狀況，應儘快就醫，告知醫師居住地區、汙水淤泥接觸史、創傷原因及傷口汙染情形，以利提供妥適的診療服務。

【綜合報導】甘肅省定西市岷縣及漳縣交界，早上7時45分，發生6.6級地震，震央位於山區，震源深度20公里，至今已發生三次強度達3級以上餘震。
 
岷縣及漳縣通訊中斷。其中定西市塔子鄉太和村受災嚴重，房屋幾乎全部損毀，救援人員正前往災區。
 
岷縣縣城居民表示，感到整幢樓房都在搖晃。有居民說，強烈震感持續了近一分鐘時間。 周邊的甘肅省隴南市、天水市、蘭州市等地感受到明顯震動，西安亦感受到震動，大批酒店住客走到室外。有西安南郊的居民表示，家中的吊燈持續搖晃了三分鐘，鄰居都在驚呼聲中跑到街上，很多汽車駛離地庫停車場。
