台灣兒科醫學會理事長黃璟隆指出，戒菸是給小朋友最好的耶誕禮物，因為少子化是台灣的社會常態，令人擔心生得少還不夠健康，預防甚於治療；嬰幼兒不會表達拒菸，所以應協助孕產婦及新生兒家屬戒菸，菸捐收入中撥出固定比例專款，專用於兒童菸害防制及青少年戒菸。

國民健康署長邱淑媞指出，相關調查顯示，懷孕時仍抽菸的孕婦約有1.2%，哺餵母乳期間仍抽菸的媽媽約有1%，而待在家中室內最長時間又跑不開者正是嬰幼兒，嬰幼兒從母親產前到出生，受到菸害無處可躲，這是人權問題。

兒科醫學會引用台灣大學兒少家庭研究中心發表「台灣童權指標報告」指出，101年台灣的新生兒體重過輕（小於2500公克）率達8.4%，高於經濟合作暨發展組織（OECD）國家平均值（7.6%）。

這項研究2005年6月至2006年7月期間共研究訪問2萬1248位台灣婦女，結果發現抽菸孕婦所生下的嬰兒，體重減少70到398克，生下早產兒的機率也高達1.09到3.87倍，特別是母親每天抽超過20根香菸的量時影響更為顯著。

加拿大研究顯示，懷孕媽媽吸到二手菸，兒童氣喘機會有1.3倍；媽媽本身抽菸，小孩發生氣喘機會增加大於10倍風險。其他研究顯示，嬰幼兒吸二手菸，將來氣喘機會比未吸二手菸增加2成；台灣本土菸害暴露會使嬰兒容易發生異位性皮膚炎、氣喘等過敏疾病，二手菸、黏在衣物上的三手菸味一樣有害。

立委蘇清泉、楊麗環、王育敏、前立委林世嘉等人表態，支持調漲菸捐，以及修法限制電子菸與加味菸、擴大限制菸品廣告等，進一步減少菸害。(中央社)

韓國超夯女團「少女時代」徐玄加盟前師姊團「SES」！韓國綜藝節目《無限挑戰》昨播出「周六周六我是歌手特輯」，廣邀1990年代曾紅極一時的偶像團體合體尬歌藝，昔日當紅女團SES也受邀，但不巧的是該團成員柳真因懷孕無法參與練唱，找來少女時代的徐玄代打，該節目昨曝光徐玄搭檔Bada及Shoo組成的新版SES定裝照，網友直誇：「徐玄版的SES也好正，好期待3人的演出。」

鄉民郭大海說，當時他一拿起畫筆就頭痛，沒學過畫畫不知道該怎麼辦，「但是當我開始回想童年回憶，就慢慢畫成竹筏渡溪的故事。」他指著畫中的竹筏和農田說，過去玉水社區居民都需倚賴竹筏，才能到高屏溪對岸的農地耕作，2至3戶人家會共用一艘竹筏，連竹筏都是自己動手做的。

鄉民許秋好則是畫下自己平日的快樂來源「騎單車哼著歌」，她的繪本上畫了九如鄉當地信仰中心代天府，街道上還寫著「monday-sunday happy」，表達鄉民每天在附近騎車、聊天，日子過得非常快樂。

繪本指導老師許美芳說，看到老人家那麼開心畫著自己的故鄉，真的非常開心。尤其用畫畫說故鄉的故事，可以讓更多人一起參與，每個人的童年回憶都可以放進繪本中，而繪本就是記憶的傳承，她特地加上注音符號，就是希望小朋友都能更了解自己的生長環境。老人家的記憶，畫下來就是一種傳承。
