太平洋邊緣演習（Rim of the Pacific）從1971年開始，今年是第24次，美軍太平洋艦隊司令部表示，太平洋邊緣演習的主要目的是確保太平洋海域的安全，並且提供參與國家的軍隊罕見的訓練機會。

負責的太平洋艦隊表示，這次共有23個國家參與演習，其中汶萊與中國大陸將是首度參加，美國海軍第3艦隊司令官佛洛伊德（Kenneth Floyd）中將擔任總指揮官，澳洲皇家海軍少將柯藍（Simon Cullen）擔任副總指揮。

此外，太平洋艦隊指出，為了太平洋邊緣演習，將首度出動兩艘醫護艦隨行。

這次太平洋邊緣演習的主題將是「能力、適應、夥伴」，展示參與國的海軍巡防範圍以及航海能力，從災難援助到海域安全與操作等。

參與國家除了美國、中國大陸與汶萊之外，還包括澳洲、加拿大、智利、哥倫比亞、法國、印度、印尼、日本、馬來西亞、墨西哥、荷蘭、紐西蘭、挪威、秘魯、南韓、菲律賓、新加坡、泰國、東加與英國，演習預計從6月26日展開，8月1日結束。(中央社)

「割闌尾」行動以罷免不適任立委為號召，昨募款已超過1000萬元，有藍委回嗆「除綠黴」；太陽花學運領袖陳為廷說，「無法理解這什麼神邏輯」，痛批該做法迴避民意，惡意將議題的辯論操作成藍綠惡鬥，「顯然是幼稚而迴避責任」。

「割闌尾」計畫首波鎖定國民黨3名立委林鴻池、蔡正元、吳育昇，蔡正元回應說「歡迎來！」也曾公開回應要發起「除綠黴」行動。「為什麼只割藍委、不割綠委？」陳為廷今晨在臉書表示，民進黨、親民黨及台聯黨等在野立委，在學運期間已簽署「先立法，再審查」的承諾書，民進黨團也在聯席委員會主導通過立委張慶忠3月17日會議無效，退回服貿、重啟談判及立法院應制定兩岸協議監督條例，且在監督機制建立後才能審查服貿等3項決議。

陳為廷說，該3項決議目前雖未通過院會且無約束力，若民進黨團之後變卦，「不用等蔡正元你來喊聲，人民自然也會將在野黨立委納入罷免目標」。他向藍委說，如果還保有任何一點點，以政治作為一種志業的良知，「像個人一樣的正面迎戰」、「你們的敵人不是民進黨，而是人民；你們該作的不是操作政黨惡鬥，而是老老實實面對人民的訴求。」（陳亮諭／綜合報導）
