▲ TransMemory-EX II 機構設計可說是和 TransMemory-EX 完全一致，外殼局部包覆鋁材質，主體仍以塑膠材質構成。
就外觀設計而言，TransMemory-EX II 直接沿用了 TransMemory-EX 的機構設計，看來並沒有什麼不同。差別是內在部分，TransMemory-EX 標示最高存取速度為讀取 220MB/s、寫入 95MB/s，而 TransMemory-EX 是提升到讀取 222MB/s、寫入 205MB/s。兩者參考市價相近，舊款約 1,999 元、新款則是 2,299 元，理論上是買 TransMemory-EX II 比較划算。

TransMemory-EX II 依舊提供了預載軟體，差別是名稱更改為 EX II Pad Locker，而 TransMemory-EX 是以 TransMemory_Secure Format 為名。不過兩者功能性相仿，使用者得以自訂部分容量空間做為隱私區，藉由密碼登入保護機制，避免重要或私密資料被他人窺探、取得利用。此功亦能會自動將隱藏區資料加密，存取模式如同使用一般隨身碟產品，無須再搭配特定軟體逐一設定解或加密模式，是實用性相當高的附加小功能。

Toshiba 這款 TransMemory-EX II，承襲第一代產品 TransMemory-EX 高性價比導向，實測讀取速度可達 230MB/s，寫入亦趨近規格標示 200MB/s。其價格在高速產品裡算是相對便宜，而且存取速度不亞於高價產品，並且內附加密功能軟體，性價比表現相當亮眼。
