台積電(2330)今(17日)舉行法說會，執行長交棒問題再度成為市場關注焦點。而董事長張忠謀今也親上火線，表示預定在2014年6月前完成執行長(CEO)交棒的計劃未變，他也打趣說，交棒時間不見得是明年，「搞不好就是明天」，顯示內心對日後執行長的安排已有定見。張忠謀也重申，自己未來董事長的這個棒子仍將繼續握著，且自己會是一個「會管事」(hands-on)的董事長。

他也指出，在日前共同營運長蔣尚義退休後，目前檯面上的兩位共同營運長劉德音、魏哲家都是執行長的合理接棒人選(logical candidate)。

張忠謀表示，自己在2009年6月重回執行長位子，主要是他看到台積當時有很多機會，卻也有重重挑戰需要突破，比方當時行動裝置的機會，發現的人很少，但現在行動裝置市場成長的樂觀態勢則是眾所周知，而這個機會台積當時就注意到。

至於他在2009年6月重掌執行長一職時，就為自己設定了3~5年的年限，主要是認為台積需要這樣的一段時間，才能調整公司營運策略，而自己的任務屆時也能夠達成。而如今距離當初自己重掌執行長也已經過4年半的時間，因此他會遵循原本的規劃，在5年的年限交出棒子。

不過他重申，自己不會交出董事長的棒子，且自己不會是不管事的董事長，他還是會對台積的營運有所掌握。

而現場法人也提問，既然張忠謀仍會是位「hands-on」的董事長，那麼明年6月之後他是否還是會出席法說？張忠謀則以「感謝你的邀請」(Thank you for the invitation)回應，並表示他會考慮。

張忠謀指出，未來自己交出執行長棒子後，台積營運的大方向不會變，最重要的依歸仍是技術優先。而為了持續投資更先進的技術，台積必須累積更豐厚的營收，並達到更好的獲利結構，並能夠確保有大客戶的支持與信任。在此大方向之下，則會針對製程重心所在、具體投資金額、以及客戶之間輕重的權衡，進行細部的微調。

立法院今日上午將討論是否解凍勞委會預算案，關廠工人將動員數10人，要求立法院衛生環境委員會務必把關，屆時關廠工人代表也將於上午10點到立法院行動。

關廠工人代表表示，若勞委會沒有提出具體的解決方案，不得對勞委會預算解凍，關廠工人也將持續抗爭。

【曾雪蒨／台中報導】台灣菸酒公司生產的金牌啤酒受歡迎，連小強（蟑螂）也愛？！台灣啤酒台中市議員黃國書今天在台中市議會財經業務質詢時，拿出一瓶裡面有小強的金牌瓶裝空啤酒指出，有民眾日前喝台灣菸酒公司的金牌啤酒，喝到一半竟發現瓶中出現兩隻蟑螂，跟菸酒公司反甕卻以「未開封一瓶換六瓶、已開封一瓶換一瓶」賠償，根本不顧消費者權益，便宜行事，要求市府主持公道。

台中市副市長蔡炳坤指出，市府將針對內容物送檢，並依據《菸酒管理法》相關規定處理，此外也會針對臺灣菸酒的製程管理進行抽驗，確保民眾權益。

台中烏日啤酒廠廠長林煜登說「第一次碰到民眾反應啤酒內有小強！」他說裝填啤酒過程包括洗瓶與裝填作業，今天下午已經帶中市財政局到現場稽查，將了解品管過程是否有瑕疵，一定會給民眾一個交代。
 
此外，本周六將在圓滿戶外劇場舉辦「金牌音樂派對」，預計將吸引大批青少年，現場推出「買酒換門票」活動，是否是酒類另類行銷方式，要求市府進一歨了解；台中市副市長蔡炳坤對此認為非常不適宜，將函文台灣菸酒了解狀況，並依相關規定處理。

【國際中心╱綜合外電報導】寮國國內線航班16日發生重大空難，一架從寮國首都永珍飛往南部城市百細的中型客機，在即將抵達目的地機場時墜入湄公河，機上49人全數罹難，根據泰國《曼谷郵報》報導說，機上有一名台灣旅客，英文拼音為Chang Yu Liu.。經我國外交部證實，機上有一名台灣乘客，並已聯絡家屬提供協助。

失事班機是義大利與法國合資的ATR公司所生產的ATR 72型雙引擎螺旋槳中型客機，標準載客量約70多人。泰國《曼谷郵報》報導說，飛機企圖降落巴色機場時氣候惡劣，結果不幸掉入墜公河。
