【楊逸民／美國紐約州水牛城報導】王建民近3年在大聯盟上上下下，但從來沒想過要放棄追尋美國職棒夢想，他表示：「我會一直努力下去，堅持到最後一刻。」
 
今天藍鳥3A水牛城野牛隊在主場迎戰國民3A雪城酋長隊，遇上前2年效力國民時的3A隊友，昔日隊友看到建仔非常開心，都衝上前去又摟又抱，也很關心建仔的狀況，一聊就是半個小時，建仔也很高興，臉上不時露出笑容。
 
儘管不能找回以往的身手，但建仔仍賭一口氣，要證明自己還有站穩大聯盟的能力，他說：「我覺得這就是對棒球的一種態度，只要肯努力，就一定有機會重新回到大聯盟場上。」
