英女泳渡英吉利海峽　終點前虛脫不治

【綜合報導】就差不到2公里的距離，蘇珊泰勒(Susan Taylor)就要游達終點，卻在這時突然虛脫,，跟在一旁的工作團隊立即將她從海上拉起，隨即送往醫院急救，但搶救不治，在醫院宣告死亡。
 
現年34歲的蘇珊泰勒，為英國兒福機構和糖尿病患募款，挑戰泳渡英吉利海峽，她在當地時間14日凌晨一點出發，跳入僅有攝氏15度的海水中，一路上都相當順利，但卻在即將抵達終點時體力不支，家人悲痛不已。

泰勒不幸喪命的消息傳出後，民眾紛紛留言哀悼，至於這個慈善募款活動，目前已經募得超過3千英鎊。
