瑞銀大陸首席經濟學家汪濤於電話會議上表示，大陸需要繼續推進利率市場化，將利率浮動下限擴大至30%，而目前銀行利息定價能力高，相信不會令貸款利率大降。她續指，加快利率市場化是改革金融體系的重要一環，以放鬆對銀行業的管制；讓銀行有更多自主權決定放貸。同時需要增加存款保障制度，以及先解決銀行整合及倒閉的問題。

根據阿思達克財經網報導，匯率政策方面，她指出人民幣兌美元應終止升值趨勢，甚至需要略為貶值；因大陸國內物價不斷上升，而美元兌其他貨幣較強勢，故人民幣兌美元需要更多雙向浮動。她預期下半年人民幣兌美元將貶值至6.2水平，但未來5年人民幣則保持升值趨勢。

另外，她指出大陸內地實體經濟存在結構性問題；今(2013)年首五個月內地信貸增長快，但帶到實體經濟的並不多，當中因為企業不願投資，尤其一些面對產能過剩、盈利及毛利低的行業；再者企業現金流不足，資金亦用作還債息。因此她指出，政府需要淘汰產能過剩行業，開新的增長點如服務業等；推出措施減少壞賬問題，如中央發長期國債或作債務重組；以及放鬆管制以增加投資回報。

不過她相信，大陸爆發金融及銀行危機的機率很低，因大陸居民及企業存款率高，加上大陸資本帳非全面開放下資金不會大量外流，故銀行具充裕流動性投入經濟；而且中央是銀行、國企的主要股東，可防範危機突發。因此，她建議先將大陸國內金融改革做好，下一步才開放予國外市場，目前不宜加快資本帳戶開放。
