2013第27屆亞洲男籃錦標賽第二場四強賽，東道主菲律賓以86：79戰勝韓國，時隔27年進決賽，與伊朗爭冠，如願獲得明年西班牙世界盃的門票。

兩隊亞錦賽中共交手23次，韓國14勝9負佔據優勢。首節兩邊戰成7：7平，比分緊咬，韓國隊首節19：15領先。第二節，菲律賓隊積極拼搶進攻籃板，獲得更多的出手機會，不過，上半場菲律賓仍以36：39落後。

易籃再戰，傑生威廉連取6分，菲律賓以44：39反超，接著外線火力全開，特諾里奧和迪奧坎波接連飆三分球，單節29：17，取得9分領先。

末節，金敏九連投中三分球，韓國隊追到64：67。戰況再度陷入膠著，終場前4分鐘，金敏九3+1，韓國隊74：73超前。最後1分鐘，菲律賓的迪奧坎波和阿爾帕格左右開弓，各命中三分球，一舉確立勝勢，韓國隊三分外線不中後，放棄比賽，菲律賓以86：79戰勝韓國，進入決賽，菲律賓上一次進決賽要追溯到1986年的馬來西亞吉隆玻，在那屆亞錦賽奪得冠軍。

菲律賓籃板38：27佔據優勢，4人得分上雙，傑生-威廉17分，平格瑞斯17分10個籃板，阿爾帕格三分球7中4，得到14分，迪奧坎波11分。韓國隊金敏九投進5記三分球，拿下全場最高27分，金周成和梁東根各自拿下11分。

輸球後的韓國隊，明天下午季軍戰對上中華隊，兩隊將爭奪明年西班牙世界盃的最後一張門票。
