與小鴨拼人氣　竹市展出大鴛鴦

【楊勝裕／新竹報導】國慶焰火將在新竹市南寮港施放，為吸引人氣，南寮地中海今天先推出兩隻長八公尺、高五公尺的大鴛鴦，將展出一年。

不少小朋友在老師帶領下，今天前往欣賞大鴛鴦，小朋友看到兩隻鴛鴦排在地中海裡，雖不是黃色小鴨，個個仍直呼：「哇！好可愛，讚！」

市府秘書鍾光洋表示，相傳2千多年一名晉國大夫開闢花苑，有一天花匠聽到蓮池有人呼救，奮不顧身救起一名女子，不想這位女子是大夫之女。但，大夫誤以為花匠調戲愛女，將花匠打入大牢，獲救的女兒偷探並贈一件五彩寶衣，大夫得知後將花匠綁石丟入蓮池，女兒竟也跳入蓮池共赴黃泉。隔天蓮池就出現一對異色的鳥兒，雄的五彩繽紛、雌的毛色蒼褐，雙飛雙宿，世人稱為鴛鴦。

鍾光洋說：「我們希望今年這對大鴛鴦，為有情人見證堅貞不移的愛情，也歡迎民眾來南寮遇見幸福！」
