美國兩年內汰換老舊運原油列車

美聯社23日報導，美國將於兩年內汰換數千輛老舊的DOT-111運原油列車，以防老舊運原油列車出軌翻覆爆炸的意外發生。

加拿大一列滿載原油的列車2013年7月6日凌晨在魁北克「梅岡蒂克湖」鎮中心出軌，引發爆炸，造成47人死亡。加拿大因此訂定3年內汰換老舊的DOT-111運原油列車的規定。

美國23日提出的新規定汰換時限比加拿大還短一年，且除了運原油列車外，還包括載送乙醇等危險液體的列車；新規定適用車廂20節以上的列車種。
