桃園市新屋區中興北路的亞洲保齡球館今(20)日凌晨2時左右發生火警，大批消防救災人員搶救，警消雖然救出2名受困民眾，但是6名消防人員在救災時，疑似館內樓層崩塌，不幸殉職。桃園市長鄭文燦除表示哀慟外，更下令全面清查全市公共安全，涉公共使用違建，「該拆就拆」。

桃園市長鄭文燦得知有警消殉職後，立即前往火災現場了解情況，並在臉書表達哀悼之意，並表示6名殉職警消將從優撫卹。

對於發生大火的保齡球館疑似違建，鄭文燦表示，已要求桃園市政府工務局調出建物使用執照，了解保齡球館是否涉增建及違建。他更下令全面清查全市公共安全，涉公共使用違建，「該拆就拆」。
