機場急辦護照濫用外交部擬提限制

外交部領事事務局表示，春節過年期間機場急辦護照量大增，造成同仁曾工作趕辦到凌晨4時，為回歸護照正辦，上半年可能實施過期護照將無法在機場趕辦。

國民黨立委楊應雄今天在立法院外交委員會質詢，機場急辦業務量是否大增及如何因應？領務局副局長尹新垣答覆，根據領務局統計，今年農曆年前後赴領務局機場緊急聯絡中心趕辦護照的民眾達196人，急辦護照者增多，機場同仁甚至趕辦到凌晨4時。

尹新垣說，機場急辦護照中有一半都是因為過期，其實真正有緊急因素者僅10餘件，為讓換發護照回歸正辦，領務局考慮修改規定，擬限制過期的護照無法在機場急製換發，可能會在上半年實施，但仍待進一步討論。
