美國聯準會(Fed)30日淡化貧弱的第一季經濟成長影響，繼續緩步退出債券收購刺激方案，強調經濟雖然在嚴冬中滯足，但畢竟仍在增強。

聯準會30日如各界預期，連續第四次在貨幣政策會議中削減債券收購金額100億美元，目前每月收購金額已降至450億美元。

聯準會30日下午宣布這項行動之前幾小時，商務部剛發表數據，顯示美國第一季經濟成長率只達0.1%，遠低於2013年第四季的2.6%增幅。

聯準會的聲明說：「自3月的會議以來，我們接獲的資料顯示，經濟活動在冬季期間局部受惡劣天候影響，曾一度嚴重減緩，但最近已逐漸增強。」

聯準會並且表示，勞工市場情況「持續改善」，消費者支出「似乎也在加速」。

高頻經濟公司的首席經濟學家歐蘇利文說：「總之，沒有什麼特別的驚奇。聯準會官員對經濟成長仍具信心，認為第一季GDP成長數字不佳只是暫時現象。此外，他們還明確指出，通貨膨脹壓力並不明顯，近期內也不會調升利率。」

Naroff經濟顧問公司總裁納洛夫說：「聯準會官員來到華府，愉快地吃了幾頓飯，然後就水波不興地回家，這是件好事。」聯準會並且繼續把聯邦資金利率維持在幾近於零的水準，該利率自2008年以來就不曾變動。

市場似乎對債券收購金額的削減已經坦然接受，交易商的注意力主要聚焦在利率調整的時機，即使聯準會與市場都預期利率「發射」的時間不會早於明年中。

聯準會也維持未來發展的指引不變，表示在債券收購計畫結束後，仍應維持零利率「相當長的時間」。若按目前的削減進度，聯準會可能在10月或11月時結束資產收購方案。

今天是五一勞動節，有上萬名勞工下午參與「反低薪、禁派遣」大遊行。太陽花學運領袖林飛帆今天也在遊行隊伍中，但不願接受採訪，僅說他支持遊行訴求。林飛帆昨曾在臉書發文說，他從2010年起就每年參加五一遊行，呼籲大家一起上街。

學運成員、台大學生洪崇晏今也上街，聲援警察組織工會。他說，苗栗員警柯雄飛3月時因北上支援學運勤務而過勞中風，今不幸過世，聽聞消息後感到不捨，但學生並非和警察站在對立面，而是和政府站在對立面，「是政府把警察推到第一線，讓他們過勞」，唯有警察組成工會，才能保障勞動權益，解決工時過長、過勞問題。
  
另一名學運學生魏揚也和黑色島國青年陣線成員一同參與遊行，魏揚說他支持勞工的訴求，也認為青年未來也會成為勞工，必須多關心勞工權益。（張勵德／台北報導）
