911博物館將開幕　珍貴「遺柱」解封

【綜合報導】美國911恐怖襲擊發生近12年，隨著紀念博物館即將落成，襲擊中留下來的一根充滿紀念價值的柱子，經過多年包裹收藏後終於解封，重見天日。

這根鋼柱重58噸、高10公尺，上面寫有許多遇難者家屬當年留下的字句，充滿紀念價值。到2002年，由於世貿遺址需要興建博物館，才將鋼柱搬走，並用膠布將鋼柱包起保存，到2008年，再運回世貿遺址，今後將成博物館的核心展品。
