監察院發布新聞稿指出，漢翔公司承攬軍機維修業務，罔顧飛行安全，未確實以X光檢驗維修軍機，國防部包庇、未處理，監察院通過糾正漢翔公司及國防部。
監察院表示，漢翔公司承攬軍機維修業務，以渦電流檢查代替X光檢驗矇騙，置空軍飛行員生命安全不顧，事後又偽造X光照相工作日誌，有嚴重違失。
糾正案文指出，國防部在漢翔公司履約重大違規，未積極處理，至一審判決後才裁罰停權處分，卻已逾行政罰法規定處罰時效，顯有包庇及行政怠惰違失。
