1974年11月1日HELLO KITTY凱蒂貓誕生，1976年註冊，凱蒂貓雖然沒有表情，卻擄獲全球民眾的心，商界看中凱蒂貓的魔力，開始進行品牌合作，因此市面上充斥各式各樣凱蒂貓的產品，有玩具、鑰匙圈、枕頭等，在信用卡上可看到凱蒂貓，便利商店更可積點換凱蒂貓公仔。

台灣長榮航空2005年推出首架以HELLO KITTY家族為主題的彩繪客機，將HELLO KITTY的品牌結盟到航空業界。

2007年高雄市夢時代購物中心的高雄之眼摩天輪車廂，也是以HELLO KITTY來裝飾，因此「高雄之眼」又稱為「HELLO KITTY摩天輪」。

2013年7月，信元製藥則是將HELLO KITTY的品牌結盟到寵物食品與營養品，成為全球唯一以凱蒂貓為合作品牌的天然寵物食品及營養品業者。
