印度調高黃金期貨交易保證金

印度國內黃金價格8月飆漲近兩成至歷史新高後，監管當局決定提高黃金、原油等期貨交易的保證金一倍多，以抑制市場波動。

印度期貨市場委員會（FMC）宣布，從9月2日起，所有期貨合約的初始保證金將增加1個百分點，從原本的4%提高至5%；此外，黃金、白銀及原油期貨合約必須額外繳交5個百分點的保證金。

投資公司Inditrade副總裁加里佩里表示，調高保證金將影響投資人投入期貨交易的意願。他說：「保證金成本過高將使交易人減少交易量，降低交易熱度。」根據新制，買或賣1口黃金需付33萬盧比（4,900美元）保證金，遠高於舊制的13萬盧比。

路透指出，調高保證金將減少印度最大商品交易所MCX證交所的營收。MCX證交所8月每日黃金交易量平均達28.8噸，大部分交易來自投機客。顧問業者Commtrendz董事提亞加拉珍說：「FMC由於市場波動過大被迫調高保證金，因此若波動減緩，保證金可能隨之調降。」他預期交易量受保證金影響將減少25%至30%。
