國民黨台北市長參選人連勝文今（11）日參加旅展開幕活動，宣布「小確幸政策」。連勝文說，他要爭取聖誕節放假，因為結合跨年、傳統舊曆年，可成為台灣重要的觀光購物季節。

連勝文表示，跨年是台北最重要、最熱鬧、最受民眾歡迎、最有氣氛的活動，如果可以跟血拚活動連接起來，可吸引外國觀光客，把台北的觀光產業發展起來。

他強調，希望透過發展觀光產業帶動內需、創造「吃得飽」的就業機會，這是他努力的目標。

另外，連勝文還提到，為何國際上很多有錢的觀光客不來台灣旅遊，以阿拉伯而言，來台可選擇的穆斯林食物太少，這點可輔導市民；他還要清潔、改建傳統市場。
