歷經10年研發　春石斛蘭3新品種問市

行政院農委會台中區農業改良場歷經10年研發育種，今天宣布成功孕育出春石斛蘭新品種「台中1號新夢幻」、「台中2號紅雀」及「台中3號金島」。農改場表示，這三項春石斛蘭新品種已經審查通過，取得品種權，該場將儘速辦理品種權授權，量產上市。

農改場指出，春石斛蘭的花型優美，加上花色繽紛及花朵繁多，還略帶香氣，因此頗受市場歡迎，全球年產值達5億元以上，被國際花卉界視為替代蝴蝶蘭的新興蘭花，該場研發出的3種新品種春石斛蘭新夢幻、紅雀及金島，預計市場接受度應該很高。

農改場說，台中1號新夢幻具有亮眼的白邊及醒目的紫紅色，花色對比強烈，相當吸引人；台中2號紅雀具有喜氣的色彩及早花特性，可應用於年節花；臺中3號金島則是擁有代表財富的金黃色花色，花瓣又綴有胭脂紅，看起來相當貴氣，這3個新品種可說是各有特色 。 （孫英哲╱彰化報導）
