「老虎」變「病貓」，伍茲(Tiger Woods)今天出戰PGA世界挑戰賽第三輪，高燒、嘔吐、暈眩全來攪局，但離奇的是，他繳出三輪以來最佳的69桿(-3)。

伍茲三輪總計平標準桿的216桿，依然在18位參賽選手排名末位。他今在身體不適情況下苦戰，「很不容易，我已盡我所能奮戰了。」

「我已經吐了好幾個小時，」但伍茲強調，他沒有退賽的念頭，「我打得不夠好，但我認為我可以撐下去。」他今天在場上不時出現低頭作嘔的畫面，或是將臉掩在毛巾內，「隨著比賽進行，我感覺越來越好。」鐵證就是第16洞起連抓3鳥收尾。

只是，伍茲明天在決勝回合的目標，恐怕只能瞄準擺脫爐主，他與領先者史畢斯(Jordan Spieth)之間的差距正好是20桿。

21歲美國新星史畢斯越打越兇狠，今天狂撈9小鳥、0柏忌，單輪63桿(-9)入袋，總計196桿(-20)締造賽史前54洞最低桿成績。
