馬來西亞1名繼母，將繼女禁錮在一處廢棄公寓，宣稱是幫繼女驅魔。

據英國《鏡報》報導，現年7歲的女童約爾(Siti Yeoh)被繼母禁錮，由於多天未到校，老師起疑報警，警方上門盤問，該起事件才曝光。

約爾被警方發現時，因多日未進食，已經瀕臨死亡邊緣。繼母表示，因為繼女被惡魔附身，不讓她進食，是不讓體內惡魔因此獲得營養而壯大。

鄰居表示，數個月看到約爾就已經嚴重的營養不良。目前的約爾已經被救出，並被妥善的安置。
