路透倫敦1月26日 - 2013年和2014年大跌期間仍對新興市場抱有信心的大型養老、保險和主權基金可能開始動搖，這可能令新興市場失去一個關鍵的支撐。

雖然新興市場在這些機構投資者的投資中占比很小，但根據資金流動情況和全球資產經理，最近幾年新興市場投資配比有所增加。
