更換開關一般開關與大面板開關之疑問?

想請問
一般開關與大面板開關之差別，
是看開關那個按鍵的長度嗎，
來區分為一般開關與大面板開關??
還是看功能? 開關關時有小燈會亮為大面板開關?

而
如果是要更換開關的話，
如果本來是一般開關，
可以更換成大面板開關嗎?
更換步驟與插線順序有差嗎???
