3C科技改變大腦運作模式，現代人變得愈來愈難專心。許多人感嘆現在的孩童沉溺網際網路、智慧型手機和電動遊戲，難以專注在紙本閱讀上，沒有好好讀完一本書的耐心，不過也有專家持正面的看法，主張適度使用3C產品其實有助學習。

一心多用影響專注力

美國史丹佛大學一項研究指出，網路使用頻繁造成人們習慣「一心多用」，現代上班族必須經常多心做事，在同一時間處理MSN、電子郵件、瀏覽網頁和接電話等好幾件事情。由於反覆切換注意力，變得比較難以長期專注在一件事情上，導致工作效率不佳。

三總兒童青少年精神科主任葉啟斌表示，雖然沒有正式研究能證明3C產品危害專注力，但有許多專注力不足的個案的確受到3C產品影響。很多孩童在使用3C產品時非常專注，但日常生活的專注力卻明顯不足，因為他們的大腦迴路已經習慣刺激精彩的聲光效果，相對單調乏味的學習則變得難以專注。

林口長庚醫院兒童心智科醫師張學岭也指出，3C產品的使用確實會減弱孩童的專注力，由於習慣聲光刺激，比較難靜下心來做靜態活動，許多孩童已習慣網路圖像和短文的閱讀，對紙本閱讀有困難。

3C產品可能加重ADHD的症狀

葉啟斌表示，3C產品對ADHD兒童造成的不良影響，顯現ADHD兒童在使用3C產品時，容易在喜歡的內容上過度浪費時間，加劇原本組織力和時間掌控能力本來就不佳的症狀。

萬芳醫院精神科醫師張勝傑表示，ADHD患者比一般孩童容易沉迷3C產品，他們大腦活性太低而造成注意力不足，對枯燥乏味的事情不感興趣，3C產品的聲光效果吸引他們專注，所以不少ADHD患者有過度依賴3C產品的傾向。

台灣赤子心過動症協會主任吳潤馨則認為，只要家長善加利用3C產品，孩子也可以因此受益。ADHD孩童喜歡有挑戰性、不枯燥的事情，在打電動和看動畫時，畫面一直在變，這剛好滿足了ADHD孩童的習慣。

吳潤馨認為，3C產品像是一把雙面刃，可以對ADHD孩童造成危害，但也可以有所幫助。對一些ADHD孩童來說，平板電腦是很好的學習工具，重點在於家長需要控制孩童3C產品的使用時間，「以身作則」教導孩子正確的使用3C產品。
