連日高溫，不少人中暑，一個清潔工送醫時體溫竟高達42.5度。依然躺在急診監護室內的這位老人姓余，他在勞動路附近昏倒路邊，多虧了110巡警及時發現，才被送到了醫院。

根據中國江蘇網報導，市立醫院本部普內科主任醫師朱煥興說：『這個病人是由110外面撿到的送來的，體溫計已經到頭了，42.5度；來的時候，是昏迷的，而且不斷地抽筋。』

病床前的患者家屬介紹，余某今年已經63歲，在蘇州做清潔工12年，上周五6點左右獨自出門後就不見了蹤影，他們這三天已經找遍了市區的大小街道、河流，直到今天才打聽到市立醫院收治了一位無名氏。

余某的兒媳婦說：『他掃過馬路，回家了，我們調了監控，他就幾分鐘出去，然後就沒有蹤影了。』

院方表示，因為中暑嚴重，所以余某直到周六下午才脫離生命危險，但因中暑造成的腦部、心肌、腎臟損傷很可能會造成後遺症。
