Freddie Freeman，是勇士相信總是能得分的原因之一！
Freeman面對洛磯單場敲出雙響砲，加上Brian McCann也開轟，幫助勇士以11比3擊敗洛磯，拿下5連勝。
洛磯與勇士4連戰第2場比賽，前3局，勇士以2比3落後，不過，4局下戰局風雲變色，勇士這個半局總共敲出6支安打，包括McCann的2分全壘打在內，一口氣攻下6分，逆轉比數來到8比3。
洛磯連續兩場比賽，都出現一局爆6分的情形，「在這個系列賽，我們很難熬過被對手攻下大局。」洛磯總教練Walt Weiss表示。
取得領先的勇士，7局下繼續在對手傷口上撒鹽，繼首局擊出陽春彈後，Freeman又有全壘打演出，而且個人本季第13轟是支3分打點紅不讓，幫助勇士最終以11比3鎖定勝利。
本季首度擊出單場雙響砲的Freeman，進帳4分打點，開路先鋒Jason Heyward表現也不錯，繳出5打數3安打。
勇士贏球後，戰績來到62勝45敗，繼續在國聯東區穩坐龍頭，領先第2名的國民10場勝差。
