道奇王牌左投Clayton Kershaw，面對教士主投7局飆10K無失分，A.J. Ellis、Yasiel Puig各貢獻一發2分砲，幫助道奇以4比0擊敗教士，Kershaw順利拿下本季第15勝。
道奇與教士3連戰的第2場比賽，道奇推出暫居聯盟防禦王的Kershaw先發上陣，他主投7局僅被敲出3支安打，2保送、10三振，沒有丟掉任何分數。
4局上，A.J. Ellis從教士先發Burch Smith手中擊出2分砲，A.J. Ellis連2戰開火，幫助道奇先馳得點，取得2比0領先。
道奇7局上攻勢再起，率先上場的Kershaw敲安上壘，隨後Puig揮出2分打點全壘打，本季第18支紅不讓出爐，替道奇追加2分進帳。
除了Kershaw的好投，後援上陣的Ronald Belisario、Brian Wilson也沒讓對手越雷池一步，終場道奇以4比0完封教士。
Kershaw本季第15勝到手，防禦率下修到1.88，以224次三振位居國聯三振王，有機會成為繼1993-1995年勇士隊Greg Maddux後，第2位連3季奪得國聯防禦王的強投。
