國民黨第19次全國代表大會第2次會議今（14）日在嘉義登場，黨內巨頭齊聚，包括榮譽主席連戰、吳伯雄、榮譽副主席林豐正等、副主席吳敦義等、立法院長王金平、行政院長江宜樺等，都為國民黨提名的縣市長參選人造勢，打團結牌盼爭取年底大選勝選，在造勢結束後，連戰更主動拉著參選台北市長的兒子連勝文與黨主席馬英九合照。

馬英九在19全正式開幕前，帶領黨提名的23名縣市長參選人進場，從會場後面一路跟現場的中央委員、中常委、黨代表等握手致意，之後依序就座；馬英九與連戰、吳伯雄相鄰而坐，互動熱絡。

連戰和連勝文難得公開同台，連勝文會後受訪表示，造勢結束告一段落後，父親拉著他和馬英九合照，不過時間非常短暫，並未多聊。

由於連勝文去年批評政府是「大明王朝」，而連戰去年全代會也沒有出席，因此連戰今天的出席，被外界解讀為修補關係。

連勝文表示，他上台授棒時，馬英九跟他說，覺得（選情）情況非常好，也有掌握最新選情，並鼓勵他繼續努力，「局勢已有非常大的改善」。
