辛巴威總統穆加比6日在執政黨「辛巴威非洲民族聯盟–愛國陣線」大會上指控，副總統喬伊絲‧穆久儒跟美國大使館合謀暗殺他。他派間諜跟蹤穆久儒，發現她到美國大使館跟館方密會，策劃暗殺行動。不過他說，他還不急著撤換副總統。
