怎麼讓家中整棟都有無線網路?

我家的數據機現在是設在二樓
是用中華電信光纖網路然後它本身有附wifi
可是wifi的範圍只有在二樓才很強會滿格
如果到一樓或三樓就剩很微弱或剩一格
還是連得到不過不穩常常斷

然後我有叫我爸去買無線範圍擴充器
因為查到是說無線範圍擴充器會擴大無線網路的涵蓋範圍
就不怕水泥牆阻隔訊號整棟都可以用
可是問題是我爸買錯了他買成無線路由器
無線路由器對無線訊號加強是不是沒什麼幫助?
因為查到是說無線路由器功能是把有線網路轉成無線使用

而且我爸是想在一樓用wifi
但他把無線路由器接上數據機後就把路由器擺在二樓
這樣不對吧??? 應該是要把無線路由器拉到一樓這樣一樓才能用wifi吧?
請問一下我的理解有沒有錯???
