特勤局：白宮收到氰化物劇毒信

美國特勤局今天表示，一封寄往白宮的信件「推定驗出」含有劇毒氰化物，後續將做進一步檢驗證實。

路透社報導，負責保護美國總統的特勤局說，白宮郵件掃描單位昨天收到這封信，起初檢驗呈陰性。

特勤局發表聲明說，今天生物學檢測報告顯示，「信件推斷檢出氰化物陽性」。聲明也說，樣本已送往另一設施證實這項結果。

特勤局表示調查進行中，不願進一步評論。

媒體報導說，信件沒有造成任何人受傷。
