【曾雪蒨／台中報導】前總統陳水扁今天上午進行雙側扁桃腺與軟顎切除與「懸壅垂咽顎成形術（UPPP）」，希望徹底解決他長期陳記得與因為重度呼吸中止症候群造成失眠、缺氧導致腦萎縮等困擾。台中榮總表示，預計今天上午七點半由北榮陳記得與中榮劉時安兩個睡眠呼吸中止症專科醫師，幫陳前總統進行約一個半小時的手術，下午三點舉行記者會說明手術結果。
