挪威石油產業大裁員

挪威石油工業從2003年一直進行裁員，到目前為止，已有約7,000名員工被裁員。最近一波裁員人數約1,600到1,900名，且這還只是開始而已。

挪威油田的裁員幅度，是從2013年開始，並隨著石油價格的下跌而開始加速。最先被裁員的應該是鑽油台的工作人員，光從鑽油工作的停頓就可以看出來了。

因為生產過剩，原油價格重挫，挪威鑽油平台TransoceanSpitsbergen 和Songa Trym到2014年底前都將停止運作。
