【短片】華府僵局持續　美恐成倒債國

【國際中心／綜合外電報導】美國政府關門，昨起邁入第二周卻看不到出路。陷入僵局的國會，將在10月17日面對另一個期限：若不提高舉債上限，將面臨史無前例的債務違約危機。

共和和民主兩黨前天在電視政論節目中，都未表達願為聯邦政府關門或舉債上限問題解套的意願，甚至互相指責對方應為僵局負責。共和黨的眾議院議長貝納說：「由於歐巴馬總統拒絕協商，國家信用岌岌可危。」民主黨籍財政部長傑克路在另一節目上表示，除非國會「做它該做的事」，讓政府重新運作並提高舉債上限，否則「形同玩火」。他數度宣稱，國會若不在17日前提高490.8兆元台幣舉債上限，美國將出現破天荒債務違約，成為倒債國。
