【民報】現代鴉片服貿 包養「御用紳士」

服貿，好比現代鴉片，以前，為了專賣鴉片利潤，有所謂「御用紳士」，為當權服其勞；「民報」朱真一醫師專欄寫道：
日本來台後實施鴉片專賣制度，其中有兩重要的原因，專賣鴉片有稅收有利潤，是政府的一大收入，另外一個是政治因素，專賣制度可製造數以萬計的「御用紳士」供其驅使。須經總督府選擇批准其承銷商及零售商，這絕不虧本的生意變成台灣人鑽營的對象。以後又把鴉片部分收益充作保正(里長)的慰勞金，使他們成為享有特權者，總督府更可控制社會各階層。…
台灣這幾年的「御用紳士」種類很多，基本上還是有兩個因素，經濟利潤及政治目的。「御用」要輸誠的對象不像日據時代那樣簡單，除了台灣政府外，中國政府也包養不少台灣的「御用紳士」… (撰文：朱真一)全文請詳閱【民報】
