澳洲雪梨一名持槍歹徒15日闖入一家咖啡館，威脅要以兩顆炸彈炸掉咖啡館，和警方對峙逾16小時。警方最後攻堅救人時，歹徒與2名人質死亡，另4人受傷，遭到挾持的人質共有17名。我駐雪梨辦事處人員上午對《蘋果》表示，人質事件落幕，人質中沒有台灣人，在雪梨的台商、留學生、僑胞、台灣觀光客均安。

辦事處人員指出，由於辦事處辦公地點與美國駐雪梨領事館是在同一棟大樓，受到此事件影響，現在進出管制比平常嚴格；辦事處今天已經恢復正常運作。（陳培煌／台北報導）
