木星最大衛星地下海水量比地球多

德國研究人員12日表示，木星的最大衛星「木衛三」的地下海水量比地球多，太陽系可能有生命的地方有多了一個。

研究人員說，哈伯太空望遠鏡拍到的極光，有助於證實早已被懷疑的「木衛三」表層下的鹹水。

1995年抵達木星的「伽利略」太空船已偵測到「木衛三」可能有磁場。

哈伯太空望遠鏡藉由觀察「木衛三」四周極光的變化，證實「木衛三」有磁場。

德國科隆大學的索爾說：「自1970年代以來，就有木衛三可能有海洋的推測和模型，我們現在可以確定。」
