國際奧林匹亞競賽　嘉中2學生奪金

【徐彩媚／嘉義報導】國立嘉義高中一年級學生林柏翰、鄭景鴻，前往印度參加第10屆國際國中科學奧林匹亞競賽，勇奪金牌。今天嘉義市長黃敏惠特別頒獎表揚。校方指出，本屆比賽共有48國、226位選手參賽，台灣代表團由台師大科學教育中心負責培訓，總成績高居參賽國家之冠，這也是台灣連續第4年蟬聯團體成績總冠軍。
 
國際國中科學奧林匹亞競賽整合所有與科學相關學科（數學、物理、化學、生物及地球科學），是針對青少年所舉行的國際競賽，參賽者必須未滿16歲，競賽包括測驗題、理論題及實驗題等3部分。代表台灣參賽的6名學生，嘉義高中林柏翰、鄭景鴻、東山高中蔡皓文、台中居仁國中黃靖惟、高雄岡山國中邱于賓、北市建國中學廖學儒，全都獲得金牌。
